Rubblized 6,700 square yards of jointed plain concrete pavement (JPCP) in half a day. A modified rubblization pattern was chosen to provide adequate support for an overlay of 4 inches of asphalt. This was the City of Chicago’s first concrete rubblization and asphalt overlay project.
