Break & seat of jointed reinforced concrete pavement on Stagecoach Road (aka County Road 71), in Livingston County, NY, performed by Antigo Construction using a MHB Badger Breaker® in July, 2011. Killian Construction milled the existing asphalt overlay and windrowed the material on the shoulder. This was followed immediately by the break & seat process. Livingston County then spread the millings back over the fractured concrete compacting them in two 6-inch lifts. The county then finished the new pavement by applying two coats of oil and stone.
